"Puukko" is a Finnish word that literally translates to "knife". In Finland, Puukko refers to a family of knives of varying sizes, but with similar features. These knives are do-everything tools, used for hunting, camp, and everyday tasks. The White River Puukko, designed by Jason Tietz, incorporates both Finnish elements and modern features. It has a traditional Finnish profile and Scandi grind, but also a sharp 90 degree spine with notch for ferro rod, and stainless divot in the handle for friction fire use.
